“Joshua talk was thoroughly uplifting and made everyone think not only about what makes each of us human, but about how we make a positive difference to everyone with whom we come into contact.”
- Victoria Gardner, Director of Academics, Wellington College, UK
why book me to speak?
Do you ever feel that we live in a culture that is increasingly more disconnected?
After a decade of working closely with people experiencing homelessness and founding a global kindness movement, profound teachings have emerged.
Through compelling stories, my talks invite audiences to see themselves in one another and the power of practicing empathy in our everyday lives.
I share universal truths that apply to all of our lives, no matter how different they may seem from the outside.
All of us have the opportunity to shape the culture we live in by bringing more love and attention to actions.
My work in Schools
Empathy serves as a bridge that connects us to the experiences and emotions of others. When I visit schools, I aim to create a culture for young people to better understand themselves and others.
For students, developing these qualities goes beyond academic success; it cultivates emotional intelligence and innovative thinking, essential tools for navigating an ever-changing world.
By integrating these approaches, students can access their unique potential, enriching their personal growth and positively impacting those around them.
My speeches get beneath the surface of complex issues to help people to realize their potential to become ethical leaders in this world.
“Joshua’s speech was a highly interactive, powerful, eye-opening experience that left a lasting impact on our entire school & community. We left the room seeing things differently.”
Elena de Nobile, English studies - Eichendorffschule, Frankfurt
